I am an associate professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
I obtained all my degrees from Tel Aviv University, where my MSc and PhD studies have been performed under the supervision of Prof. Uri Erez. Before Joining the Hebrew University, I have spent two years as a postdoc in MIT and Boston University, working with Yury Polyanskiy and Bobak Nazer.
My research is mostly focused on information theory, and its application to modern problems in communication, compression and data science. I am an associate editor for Signal Processing and Source Coding in the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory. I am also an Algorithms Architect at Weka.
